Compost Fair
The Compost Fair is held once a year in the early spring to celebrate composting. Previously trained and current Master Composters in training come together to offer activities and information for kids and adults. There is something for everyone - whether you are just new to composting, or if you have been composting for decades.
Come to the Compost Fair to see and experience ALL aspects of composting. There are games, music, prizes, interactive displays, bins for sale and activities for kids of all ages. Come and see the various ways to compost and have your questions answered by Master Composters – just in time for spring clean up and gardening!
The Fair has been held in conjunction with Ithaca Earth Day since 2006. The Ithaca Earth Day celebration features live music, food and over 70 exhibitors. Admission is free and open to the public.
